Attached is our East Coast Slot Report© for November 2008, including separate tabs for results of the last 12 months (LTM) and last three months (L3M) ended November 2008. Please note the following:

• We calculate the total East Coast daily win per unit using a weighted average methodology to account for the differences in number of days in the reporting periods used among the various states.
• The Rhode Island Lottery does not report handle or calculate hold percentage according to industry norms. The Lottery says its video lottery terminals pay out at about 92 percent, but we must use the lower, official payout figures supplied by the Lottery.
• The Sands Casino Hotel in Atlantic City permanently closed on November 11, 2006. Its results are now no longer reflected in the New Jersey total LTM variance figures.
• Due to the use of fiscal calendars or weekly reporting in some jurisdictions, the comparative figures for month ended November 2008 reflect differing number of days, as follows:  Delaware, 35 days for November this year versus 28 days for last. In such jurisdictions, when the number of days varies for the month, year-over-year, then the percentage variance indicates the variance in the average daily figures (drop and win) so as to normalize the figures.
